Every post on Facebook has one of three messages implied in it. The first and most common one is hey look at me I'm special! The second is look at me I am a victim so pity me! The third is hey look at me F*** YOU!!! This is not a good medium for communicating with people and so all people get fatigued by the posts. It's not just you.
According to an article on cnet.com, "tuning out Facebook for weeks at a time is commonplace, according to the Pew Internet and American Life Project, which found that a majority of the current Facebook users it surveyed have at one time or another tired to the point of avoiding the social-networking site."
